We need your help. Radio is an extremely cost-effective means of reaching a huge audience. However, we still have significant production expenses. These costs are still an excellent ‘bang for your buck’ investment, when we consider that 300,000 people will be listening. By supporting CBA, you’re helping us broadcast the Christian faith in fresh, meaningful ways to those who may otherwise not give the true meaning of Easter a single thought.
Please give generously to help cover CBA’s Easter production costs. We’re very grateful for your support. Thank you!

Every Easter, CBA sends appeal envelopes to churches to hand out to church members (on one of the three Sundays before Easter). On average we receive just one reply for every 500 envelopes distributed. The best way to improve that response rate is to have a person stand up in church and talk about CBA and our programmes. If you’d be willing to do so, please do! If you’d like a little help with your talk, we’ll send you extra information – email erin@cba.org.nz. Thanks!

CBA is offering three scholarships (worth $2,500 each) to young Christians studying broadcasting or media at tertiary level. They are designed to help young Christians become established and successful in the media. Applications close on 1 April 2010. For more information, visit www.cba.org.nz

Every Easter we send a CD of our short radio ‘spots’ to 220 station managers, programme directors and announcers around NZ. Each track bears a ‘Godometer’ rating to indicate how much spiritual content it contains. We’re receiving waves of enthusiastic feedback from busy broadcasters in response to similar inspirational programmes produced by CBA for Waitangi, Valentine’s, St Patrick’s, ANZAC, Mothers’ and Fathers’ Day.

Thanks to NZ On Air for helping to fund CBA’s Easter, Real Life and Scrubcutter programming.>>
